FAQs

Q1 : Where is glass sky walk?
The Sikkim Skywalk is the first glass skywalk in India. It has been built so as to give a wonderful view of the Chenrezig statue and the stairs that lead up to it, with golden prayer wheels on each side. This beast of a walk allows visitors to look down several thousand feet in the air.
Q2 : How long is the skywalk in Pelling?
The Skywalk is around 2.5 kilometres from the Pelling city.
Q3 : Why is Pelling famous?
Pelling, a beautiful town in the West District of Sikkim, is becoming the second biggest tourist destination in Sikkim after Gangtok. The main attraction of the place is the breathtaking sight of the Khangchendzonga and the neighbouring peaks.
Q4 : Which is better Pelling or Darjeeling?
as mentioned correctly above by Rahul, if you are looking for a family holiday, Darjeeling would be a better option. But if you are interested for a relaxed holiday with short hikes in the nature/countryside, then Pelling is recommended. Both the places have nice monasteries to visit.
Q5 : What is the best time to visit Sikkim?
As suggested by Sikkim Tourism, the best time to visit Sikkim is either between March and May or October and mid-December. If you want to witness the blooming natural beauty in Gangtok best season to visit would be in spring, from March to May. Autumn, on the other hand, brings the clear view of Himalayan Range.
