Day 01 : Arrive Cochin & drive to Munnar ( 05 hrs.)

Upon arrival at Cochin meet and greet at the Airport or Railway Station. Later we proceed towards the hill station of Munnar. Cosseted by lush greeneries, guarded by captivating hills and mountains, and fringed with never-ending tea plantations, Munnar is also known as the ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise’ and will surely hold you captive throughout your stay. On the way you can visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls. Arriving in this hilly retreat, you will be checked-in to a hotel or a resort. Overnight stay at Munnar hotel/resort..

Day 02 : Munnar Local Sight Seeing.

Brace the playful morning light and wake up to a beautiful morning at the hotel/resort. Get freshened up and enjoy a healthy breakfast. Post this, you will be guided for a full day sightseeing tour wherein you will be visiting the important landmarks and other important places in Munnar. Start the tour with Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Kundala Dam, Mattupetty Lake & Mattupetty Dam, Munnar Boating, Munnar Tea gardens, Munnar Tea museum & Tea factory, Munnar Elephant Ride(Own cost), Rose (Blossom) Garden, Pothamedu View Point, Hydel Park, Photo Shooting Points & Tea Powder Shopping. During the day, you will also visit Eravikulam National Park(Entry tickets own cost) where you can enjoy spotting the exotic Nilgiri Tahr and several other wildlife species. Overnight stay will be in Munnar hotel.

Day 03 : Munnar to Thekkady by Road (4hrs.) with Thekkady sightseeing

Today morning, following your breakfast at the Munnar hotel/resort, pack your bags and check-out from the hotel/resort. Hereafter, you will be driven towards the gorgeous Thekkady, located near to Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. Following your arrival in the town, settle down in a hotel/resort and relax for a while. Post this, embark on a rustic tour to the Periyar National Park, a protected reserve forest, which is home to a stunning variety of flora and fauna. It is bound to wake up and give pleasure to the nature lover in you. The sanctuary is famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands. It is home to herds of elephants, sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs. Close to Periyar National Park is the Periyar Lake, one of the largest artificial lakes in India. Take a boat ride here to truly bask in the true beauty of the place. Coming back from the boat ride, you can go for local shopping & visit spice plantations also. Day 04 : Thekkady to Alleppey by Road ( 05 hrs.)

Check out from the Hotel and proceed to the next destination. On arrival in Alleppey, check in to Hotel. With the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of lakes, lagoons and fresh water rivers crisscrossing it, Alappuzha is a district immense natural beauty. Referred to as the Venice of East by travellers from across the World, this backwater country is home to diverse animal and birdlife. Today, Alappuzha is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign tourists every year. Alappuzha is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. A singularity of this land is the region called KUTTANAD, a land of lush paddy fields referred to as the rice bowl of Kerala and one of the few places in the World where farming is done below sea level. Later we proceed for some local sightseeing in Alleppey : Vembanad Lake, Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja temple, Coir Weaving Industry( Boat Charges own cost) and Alleppey Beach. Evening you can opt for Ayurvedic massage and Spa (at own cost). Overnight stay at the Alleppey hotel.

Day 05 : Alleppey to Cochin / Departure ( 02 hrs)

With today’s breakfast within the houseboat, you will reach the final point of your amazing Kerala tour! Post breakfast, you will be checked-out from the houseboat and driven back to Cochin. Arriving at Cochin International Airport, wish adieu to the salubrious locales and the magical backwaters of Kerala. Tour ends !!
