Sonamarg or Sonmarg, known as Sonamarag in Kashmiri, is a hill station located in the Ganderbal District of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is located about 62 Kilometers from Ganderbal Town and 80 kilometres northeast of the capital city, Srinagar.Pahalgam is a hill station in the north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Mountain trails run northeast to Amarnath Cave Temple, a Hindu shrine and site of the annual Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage. Overa Aru Wildlife Sanctuary is home to animals including brown bears and musk deer. Northeast, the Lidder River runs through scenic Betaab Valley. Southeast, Tulian Lake is flanked by mountain peaks and often frozen.

Arrival Srinagar meeting and assistance by our representative then transfer to the Hotel, After fresh Start to visit the famous Mughal gardens in Srinagar which are Nishat Bagh (the garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (abode of love). These gardens are situated on the banks of Dal Lake. Nishat Bagh is the larger of the two gardens and has an impressive plantation of Chinar trees on its highest terrace. Both the gardens are built on a symmetrical plan of central waterways with fountains dividing a series ofgardened terraces. Night halt at Hotel in Srinagar.
Today you embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque 'meadow of gold’ Sonmarg. The fast flowing Sindh River makes it popular for trout and mahseer fishing in summer. You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment). Return to the Hotel in Srinagar in the evening and enjoy comfortable. Note: The vehicle will drop and pick you up at Gagangair car stand or Proper Sonmarg as per conditions. To reach the glaciers, you can hire ponies by your ownpayment basis.
Early morning proceed to Gulmarg driving past willow trees, fast flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the meadow of flowers is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow-capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees. Stroll leisurely or take pony rides (by your own payment) across the green meadow to one of the world’s highest Golf Course. A must is a fun-filled ride in the newly introduced Gondola lift (by your own payment). In the evening back to hotel and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at Hotel.
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (The valley of shepherds).Which is about 96 kms from Srinagar, which will be covered in app. 3 hours. You Can visiting the saffron fields of pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Awantivarman), on En-route. Drive throught the pine forests. Arrive at Pahalgam and enjoy Lidder stream. Later walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains. While reach check inn and after refreshment one can hire ponies at their own cost to visit mini Switzerland, green valley, Kashmir valley, bobby house and much more.
